Our Story

The Cameron Family moved from Outback QLD to the beautiful suburb of Mororo in the Clarence Valley 11 years ago to educate their 4 kids rather than sending them to boarding school. They immediately felt part of an exciting family orientated region and wholeheartedly embraced life in the Valley. They bought the peach farm in 2018 and have lovingly developed it into the hub it is today!

"It all started from a random Facebook post to ‘come out and pick your own peaches“ Edwina laughs. “I always have some kind of rescued orphan trailing behind me from ducklings to lambs to a neglected miniature donkey so I was more than happy to also share my love of animals and the land!”

Now a local legend, The Peachy has reinvented itself into an amazing camping facility with so much to offer all ages. What’s on offer? A shared camp kitchen where people can meet and bond over a love of food, book exchange, private campsites, outdoor wood fired bath, pizza hut, kayaking on the dam, meet and feed the animals, a nature playground, star gazing bubble tent and glamping options!

“We are passionate about farming, providing unique experiences, land sustainability and the future of this country we are privileged to be a part of; we are avid advocates for encouraging the younger generation to become our future farmers and learn to love the land like we do.”

Owners Ray and Edwina have worked tirelessly to establish The Peach Farm as an eco-friendly, off-grid property with a focus on recycling, sustainability, organic farming and sharing this ethos with all who visit.

A place for families and people of all ages to meet, relax and get a taste of farming life.
